What Mercurians are Reading and Writing

A new column, beginning next issue, will help us to share publications that we think our fellow historians of communication technologies might find interesting or useful. More fun to write than a book review, these should focus on recommendations rather than cautions. A paragraph or two per recommendation would do nicely, and if you have more than one item to recommend, send them all along.

Of course, what we think our fellow Mercurians might find interesting or useful includes what we write ourselves. So feel free to send us a paragraph on your own publications, whether articles or books, in print or online. We need not be traditional here, so by all means tell us about websites you have built, museum exhibits you have developed, and so on.

Send your recommendations to Dave Whalen, Book Review Editor, or one of the other editors. Oh, and one more thing: donít be modest!
