Audio History Library The Audio History Librarys goals include establishing the chronology of the development of audio equipment as well as the development of audio as an industry. In addition, the Library intends to record the biographies of individuals and companies involved in that history and to facilitate education about audio equipment, the audio industry, and all aspects of sound recording and reproduction. It is collecting equipment literature and spec sheets, photographs, owners manuals, as well as schematics and service manuals. A museum with classic equipment is in the plans for the future. If you wish to contribute to the Audio History Library in any wayfunds, materials, or services, contact Louis Manno, Director, 221 East 70th Street, #1979, New York, NY 10021-0050; 212/988-0642. |
