News of Members Amy L. Fletcher has accepted a faculty position in the Department of Political Science at the University of Canterbury, in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her research and teaching agenda will focus on the politics of information technology. <a.fletcher@pols.canterbury.ac.nz. > Steve Jones is Professor and Head of Communication at the University of Illinois - Chicago. His scholarly interests include the Internet and social change, Internets social and commercial uses, popular music research, mp3/digital audio, youth culture and communication. He co-edits New Media & Society, an international journal of research on new media, technology and culture; edits New Media Cultures, a series for Sage Publications; and also edits Digital Formations, a series for Peter Lang Publishing.
