Steve Jones is Professor and Head of Communication at the University of Illinois - Chicago. His scholarly interests include the Internet and social change, Internet’s social and commercial uses, popular music research, mp3/digital audio, youth culture and communication. He co-edits New Media & Society, an international journal of research on new media, technology and culture; edits New Media Cultures, a series for Sage Publications; and also edits Digital Formations, a series for Peter Lang Publishing.
